4130s – One for the Road

One for the road
13 Stitches Records
So what do you know about Ipswich? They have a football team and a group putting on punk shows. If you know anything else about it them you’re ahead of me

One of the bands involved in promoting gigs is the 4130s and this is their debut record. 12 tracks of power sing along tunes. Maybe if naked raygun or bad religion had of moved to Ipswich and brought fat mike from nofx with them then this record would have come out a long time ago. It has that raygun feel that whilst the songs are crashing along the vocals aren’t trying to catch up. At times there’s a node singalong style but there seems to be more substance than nofx comedy effect
